Can I use a 1.4-1.5 motherboard and swap it for the 1.6 motherboard that I have seemed to rendered non-functional with my exceptional soldering skills Can I just do a straight mobo swap or do I also need to swap the power supply? If you put a 1.4 mobo in a 1.6 case, there will be one mobo screw that you will have to leave out, and you will also need to swap out power supplies, as the 1.6 psu is unique to that model.
you will also have to choose a different bios for the modchip, installing the pinheader also just got a lot easier for you (with your exceptional solder skills!).
