anyone ever tried this.. i have a fan in the top of my case its working on 5v i creates some cold air. I have the idea this fan only cools the cpu because the gpu is underneath the dvd drive. so the cold air can reach the cpu very hardly. So i was thing to make some sort of fan duct from that top fan to the cpu heatsink. this create's a fan duct with a fan that is sucking in cold air and a fan that is blowing out hot air. The make the traveling of the cold air to the cpu posible is was thinking on some kind of tube. and the make a fiberglas fan duct over the cpu where i can connect the tube to. Would this result in a temparature drop, i'm planning to make the excisting fan duct longer so that it reachs completly over the cpu heatsink to the tube where the cold air is coming from,

only question then is, would a 60 mm fan at 5 volt be powerful enough to blow the cold air to the cpu heatsink?? i could also chose for 12v but that will cause my 360 to make a lot of noise unsure.gif

at this moment i have a 60 mm fan on top of the case, wonder if its is powerfull enough on 5v. I hope to do some work this weekend. it is going to be a little bit tricky to do. because there is almost no space to work. But the good thing about fiberglass is that you can give it any shape you want
