i am currently trying to burn a .dvd and .000 file. they are both in their own separate folder and imgburn will burn it but the xbox says disc is unrecognizable (i have benq drive that has been flashed to xtreme 1.4 and it currently plays other burned games). was wondering if i was doing something wrong or if you guys use different program. i read somewhere that i might have to change the book type but when i open the options and click on my brand of drive (plextor) it gives me an error and won't let me actually pick dvd-rom as booktype.

ImgBurn. Always! I didn't have to change the default settings at all.
And I use Verbatim media...

iXtreme takes care of the bitsetting. It emulates DVD-Rom.
Sounds like a non-stealth rip. Did you verify the image against your original disc?

i did verify it and it seems fine. i guess i ripped it wrong. no way to change it from a non stealth rip is there?

how did you back it up?

not sure what backup program you have used, xbox backup creator does everything perfectly fine (and doesnt need .dvd files i might add), re-rip using that and burn using that or imgburn, you shouldnt have no more problems.
