My project i'm going to be working on is an all-white theme, and i'm trying to find some white analog sticks for my controllers. where could i find some of these??

Either learn to make them yourself, pay some company thru the nose to make them or paint the ones ya have.

would the sticks from the original xbox work? i've got a few old original controllers laying around in the garage that i could use for parts. (i'd like to keep the 360 sticks unpainted or changed, just in case, until i know everything works...)

Yeah the stick caps (since it's not really the whole stick ya have to change) from the XBOX S-controller and Duke controllers will fit on the sticks in the 360 controllers and vice-versa.
