Hey people, i'd like to replace the internet connector on my 360 that i accidently removed. I was going to replace it with a wifi adapter, but after looking at this pinout:

It seems like it wouldn't be too hard to replace. However, i can't make out what those inductor-like things are. Are they some kind of opto-coupler?

cant u just buy a cheap network card for your computer and then remove the "in" and put it on your 360?

not sure, i think it's all proprietary on 360. It would be cool if it supported a usb to lan or something, but as far as i've seen, they only support the official wifi adapter.

Those are Transformers in there. You can use any WiFi adapter that plugs into the RJ45 connector, but you'll have to reinstall that RJ45/USB connector and use the actual jack instead of 'hard wiring' it right to the board. If ya want to use the M$ WiFi adapter that can be hard wired to the board, since it uses the USB connector.

i'd like to hardwire a new rj45 connector, i busted up the original one. These transformers, are they stock components or is it something specific?

They're built into the connector, you'll have to get one from another 360 board.
