Alright i am getting the whisper max fan for my xbox and i pre-ordered the xcm core cooler v2 and just realized (me a dumba**) that EVENTUALLY having both of these runing might be too much of a power strain on my xbox and corrupt my hard drive. If any one can help me figure this problem out it would be much appreciated.

I don't know where those 2 fans get their power from, but if it's from the DVD-ROM or the rear fans, then you don't want them. I have 2 12v fans (70mm and 80mm) running off of the fan header on the front of the motherboard (I believe it's no longer there on the "Falcon" systems), with no problems whatsoever.
