Okay, I have a kreon drive, and it rips my LEGIT games fine. My xbox burnt (literally) my halo 3 disc, luckily I made a backup, the thing is I have not saved the ISO (harddrive failure). I still have my original halo 3 disc, and my backup, however it will not rip the halo 3 disc, gets layerbreak errors in xbox backup creator. Now I put my backed up halo 3 in, and I cannot do a complete backup, only current partition, however it is 7.30GB. I checked the disc and everything was fine except for splitvid. My question is: do I just backup the current partition and it should be fine? Or do I use a regular program to backup the ISO (img burn etc), or I cannot backup a backed up game?

You can't make a backup of a backup....Guess your going to have to buy a new copy. Next time put the original elsewhere and use the backup so you wont be having this problem

Ah well that just saved me 2 hours haha.
I actually think I have "disc protection" still on it from game-crazy, so they should replace it.
Thanks for your help.

I like you need to READ the RULES.
