ok i have made 3 boot screen logos for use with some bios i use ind-bios as this has no limit to the size of the xlogo.x file.

for peeps that don't know how to use these if your bios supports them place them in the C:\ Drive.

here are my first 3.

steveo1978
it turned out great i just got to get the green right but i gonna try and make that the bios default and your stuff is way better the ones on allxboxskins.com now people will see y i stay up till 4 in the morning and thanks
rocky5
Thank you i tried to upload them to allxboxskins.com but i kept getting an error so i resorted to here.

If any one wants to make a request feel free to do so as i enjoy making 3d models.
steveo1978
do u know how to make different flubber screens
rocky5
Nah sorry they use the same model format though but i think its just a 3d animated DX model though i cant be sure as there is no tutorials on how to make flubber animations i learned on how to make the X logos from a Text tutorial you get with one of the programs to edit the startup.
rocky5
Ok flubber is just a 3d model but it looks shit lol you can hardly see it then it zooms into the back.
steveo1978
i am loving my monster energy drink x screen and i liked the fact that u included the settings is the a way to but that in the bios and make it the default so no matter what i do it will always be there
rocky5
Nup you just need to leave it in the C drive and it will always be there.

for the best colour (Green) i found 2

first one is a darker lime green 0x74BE10
second one is a lime green 0x96c035
rocky5
Ok here is my new version of the Xbox 360 xlogo

Could you possibly make one using the "XBMC" logo? That would be really great!
00diabolic
Hello.. I second that request for the XBMC logo. I REALLY want that on all of my XboX's.

I hope you can come back to this old thread and help us XBMC fans out.

THanks
DeeRez
Make that three, would love to have the XBMC logo on boot too.
DeeRez
Found out that the XBMC logo is included with KernelBasher v1.1 from the usual place.
rocky5
OK here is one variation of the logo.

Wow that looks sweet. I have a few questions on coloring it. Where does the color code.txt go?

All I see in the indobios.cfg is this:

CUSTOMBLOB=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\flubber.x ;Enable custom Flubber from c:\flubber.x
CUSTOMLOGO=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\mslogo.bmp ;Enable custom MS Logo from c:\mslogo.bmp
CUSTOMX=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\xlogo.x ;Enable custom X Logo from c:\xlogo.x

Would the colors of the .x files have to go in the ind-bios.cfg or does the color code.txt go on the C drive with the 2 x files?

Let me know THANKS AGAIN for this.... :-)
rocky5
in the config file i just put the codes in the txt file to save space overwrite the colours with new ones in the ind-bios.cfg

Ok I got the colors figured out I think. but all that worked was the xlogo.x file but not the text.x file. How is that one put under the ind-bios.cfg?

Right now I have the standard Microsoft X and under that it says Media Center. Does not Say Xbox Media center.

What do I need to do to get it right.

Thanks
rocky5
Here is an image of what you pick and also here is my ind-bios.cfg you can copy this but look at it first it tells you where to place stuff also edit the placements of your dashboards or it wont load your dashboards.

ie DASH1=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\Dashboard\Dashboard.xbe is where mine is

Yeah I finally figured out this was the one I was missing.

How much room does the xlogo.x file give you for text? What I mean is, was there no way you could have put Xbox Media Center all below the X? I'm Just curious if that is possible maybe I can figure out a way of combining these 2 files into one xlogo.x file. Or maybe it would be to squashed to fit and look good.

If its not possible then this is the next best thing. Thanks again
rocky5
What you want just the Xbox Media Center logo to be one file so you can have that and the big X.

if so here you go you need to arrange the position by yourself.

Hi All

Did anyone continue work on this?

:-)
Vash3k
Yes, I would love to see Tux the Penguin replace that giant X, and/or maybe replace the flubber. Has this been done?
dakota76
Hey this is some great work here
Just wondering if there is a tutorial out on how to do it
Also is there a way to replace the flubber
If so how or is there a tutorial for it too
Id like to do some kind of XBMC thing
Even if i could just replace it with a picture would be great

dakota76
What about the flubber
Is there a way to change it to something different
Or even a picture
Or is there somewhere to download them

You can yes but you cant use pictures the flubber is just a 3D model same as the X logo but it doesn't look good that's why i only did the X logo as i bypass the flubber altogether i want to get to the dash quickest.

I don't use flubber or X logo screen now just boot to dash.

also i use Ind-Bios 5003 as this can use bigger logos than other bios.
dakota76
do you know of any tutorials for the flubber
rocky5

same as above tutorial there the same thing just named differently like the xlogo is named xlogo.x and flubber is flubber.x so you can use xlogos for flubber and vice a versa.
dakota76
K thanks mate
now just to figure out how to get this working on the xbox
dakota76
Cant seem to figure this out
i can flash the bios and upload the .x files but no changes
rocky5
Here are all my .x files include sources so you can look how i done them.
