I'm running a NME chip version 1.2 on a Hitachi drive and it has been working fine until now. All of a sudden now when I use my backups I get a "unplayable disk" error, but if I put in a retail disk it works, AND then if I put in a backup after the retail disk it plays fine (but not two backups in a row, I need to put in a retail first). I'm a bit stumped with this one and I was curious if anyone had run across this before and might be able to point me in the right direction. Like if it's a chip or a drive problem etc.

If you have any optional points installed, take them off.
I have both the network and the reset options on, but they have been on since i put it in over a year ago. So just take them off? Is this a common issue?
