I've decided my laser is messed up, it usually won't read backups. But when it does, they freeze. How can I fix the laser?

If I can't fix it, what replacement kind should I buy? I have a Hitachi 46. Most on eBay seem to be HD63, is this what I need?

Your laser will most likely be an HD63. If you look on your existing laser, it will say either HD63 or HD67. Whatever you buy must be the same as what you have. I reckon you've probably got an HD63 laser in there but it's best to be sure.
