Seems pretty cool, i don't want that bad enough to pay for a netflix account though. If i had one already i would be really happy.

Anyone actually tried this? I am wondering what the quality would be like. It doesn't have to be amazing, but as long as its watchable i might have to get my netflix account back.

wow this is old news. didn't xbscene report on this early last week? from what the previous vid showed it seems a bit slow but once the movie starts its cool. personally i hate using media center on my vista machine. it seems slow as molasses. I much prefer using TVersity.

I haven't tried this with the Media Center plug-in being used in this video but I can tell you that the quality of the stream to the Roku Netflix Player is excellent. The movies load in less than 5 seconds and rival standard DVDs. My wife and I are addicted to the Netflix streamer (we've used it nearly every night since we got the player a few months ago).

You still need Media Center for this, which is not included in Vista Home Basic (which I got with my computer but never used) or Business (which I got for free). I didn't want to pay for Ultimate, and Home Premium is not offered with Dell Vostros.
Of course, I don't have Netflix anyway

This works.
Like a poster above, my family is addicted to the streams.
I use this method, plugin and xbox 360 watching aloha scooby doo right now with the kids.
It's a bit buggy but worth the lil work (just a matter of re-init'ing it enough till it actually initializes), other than that.. this is worth every cent.
