First post here so please be gentle! I'm doing some research into the Xbox 360 file structure and mapping where it stores certain information.
I've one final area to look into, I want to find out where the wireless internet setting are located on the HDD, does anyone have a file offsett they could give me? When I've viewed the file structure in Xplorer360 I cant see any new folders created and I've not got the time/patience to compare two images bit by bit to see where new data has been stored.
I'm just about to interrogate the wirless adapter, but not holding my breath, merely checking to eliminate it from further inquiries. I'm sure it would be stored on the HDD itself but where. If it is stored, i'm assuming it would be encrypted, at least I hope it would be, but these are the questions my research is designed to answer.
Ultimately I'd like to be able to tell what network a particular 360 was linked to, i.e. to prove that someone is stealing bandwith or claiming to be using a specific router when they arent.
If you also know the location of the ethernet settings then that would also be useful!
