Hi I recently installed the latest xecuter bios on bank 2 of my 1.6 xbox and it went smoothly. Now I want to

load evolution x dashboard but when I put in the disk, it only loads as far as the screen with the xbox logo and

the rox my box xecuter logo at the bottom. I have reset my xbox at least thirty times and I am not sure why it

doesn't take. Any advice would be great.

Have you tried different media types?
Re-burn the disk at the lowest speed?
Has this disk worked before?
Do originals boot?

Hi, same problem for me : Xbox v1.6 with Aladdin XT plus.
EvolutionX 1.8.3935 (or XBMC) is burned on DVD (same DVD as game copy which works great) or CDRW and each time the box stops at "xbox logo".

Please ... help

ADD : I just try with another version of EvolutionX (1.8.458) and the box boots on EvolutionX. What is the problem with v1.8.3935 ?

The root of the disc has to contain default.xbe to boot. If yours is titled evoxdash.xbe or isn't in the root, the disc will not boot.
