I have a Logitech wireless controller that is great but the d-pad doesn't work in XBMC. Everything else is fine. Is this a known problem? I just modded a new system and the d-pad worked with a stock Xbox and with Unleash X but not XBMC. Thanks in advance.

He's talking about a controller, not a remote.

Make sure your thumbsticks are centered.

It has nothing to do with the thumb sticks as they don't navigate in XBMC. The D-pad doesn't work.

Actually if they are not centered that can cause the other keys to not function. The right thumb stick in particular because that is the volume control.

Do they still work with the mods in other dashboards? I would delete the keymap.xml file and see if it might be corrupt.

As stated, it still works in Unleash X and every game I tried. Normal Xbox controllers work in XBMC so it isn't the keymap.xml.

Also check the triggers. I believe the d-pad won't do anything if the triggers are depressed even very slightly. I have a Logitech wireless controller that has extremely sensitive triggers, which can be "depressed" even if I'm not touching them. Try pulling out on the triggers and then using the d-pad to see if that's the problem.
