I don't know if this is the right forum for my problem but here goes.

I have an xbox360 with a flashed drive and a 360 elite unflashed.

When I put legit GOW in elite, it downloaded an update automatically. I then manually downloaded the extra maps. But when I put the same disc in the flashed box - no updates! The only update I can get for this console is the manual map updates.

Now when I try to play co-op game through system link, I get an error saying the GOW game is a different version than the host systems.

Anyone ever have this problem? Is there a way to manually download the patch that the elite downloaded automatically?

I forgot to add that I used the stealth flash and that I have a gold membership on that console.

Any ideas?

Hey, one of the 360's has a game update the other ones does not. just clear the cache on both of them and you will be able to connect without issue.

to clear your cache
Go to the system blade and then select you HD with the Y button then press.

X,X,Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X

it will prompt you with a message like do you want to perform system maintenance say yes then you are all good to go.....
