thanks illusionsofgrander, sorry for the confusion, Thug lost levels is a patch that used to be on here on the forums that was up for download via a link to a place called the fuq-shop or something like that. The guy that had the link has not signed on for like 4 years though. No xbes or nothing like that.

for those of you that dont know about thug lost levels it is a patch of code that replaces three levels hidden in the tony hawks underground 1 that were not used, Philly, school 1 and downhill jam. Why those levels were not used is beyond me but they are left in the game and can be accessed via a hack that opens them up.

It's very interesting read on here and other sites i read about, hopefully someone still has it.

yea same here, i really really want to try this hack out, it does replace the other 3 secret levels though from what i read but i guess there was going to be 6 classic levels instead of 3 but they dropped out at the last minute and did not delete the files.

I know someone has to know something!

Whoa, whoa, whoa! You're telling me you can mod THUG? How do I go about this??? And what exactly is XBE editing?

the xbe is basically the equivalent of .exe for a computer file. This mod does not utilize anything with the xbe. Its a hack of one of the games files that opens up 3 unused levels the developers did not use in the final game but they left the files in the game. This as far as i know is one of the only thug modifications on xbox.

By the way Thikr be careful about the xbe talk, i do not want anyone to confuse this as the hack utilizing an xbe.

sorry for the bump, and double post raise from the dead but found oud and done some interesting things since the last post here. Had some help and figured out how to get the lost levels on xbox, but it does replace the 3 current ones, but you can keep a backup of the file and switch when needed from the set of 3 that are the orginal ones and the 3 lost level ones. Also added a debug menu to Thug 1. Very good stuff. By the way this does NOT involve any xbe hacking or ANY xbe stuff.

Now for more awesome news, Tony hawks american wasteland xbox does infact have the 2 levels marseilles and atlanta in the game, and through some help with that i now have a thaw xbox collectors edition just like ps2, you can get 80's tony, 70's alva, the 2 bonus levels, some concept art, the only thing taken out is the bonus videos whuch they removed from the xbox game. On top of all this there is a test level added to skate around and debug menu has been added to this as well. SO thaw has been fully blown open.

As for thug 2 and tony hawks project 8, debug menus have been added so thats Thug 1 and 2, THAW, and tony hawks project 8. If anyone would like any info please post and ill direct you where and what to do.

I'd appreciate the guide on how to enable all of the features on the Tony Hawk games, could you post the instructions here or does it require "illegal" steps?

none of the instructions require illegal steps or anything. I just got back into town so give me a min to get everything together and ill make a step by step list, or try to at least.

All that was done was some hex editing actually to get these features. You must have the game burned to your hard drive first and foremostly if you are inquiring about the thaw hack. All the hacks i have running require the game to be ran "single scripts"

I'd also be really interested in any THPS hacks. Ideally it'd be awesome to have a THPS4/THUG1/THUG2 level combo, but I doubt any tools are developed enough to do that.

Give me a day or so and ill post back the info with the apporiate download for the lost levels. The download is not illegal either, it's just a hex exited file.

I remember hearing about modding tony hawk games on the PC, but this is awesome if we can do the same on the xbox. Please upload those hex files when you have the chance, I would love to look at it and see what else we might be able to do with these games

lol. no worries. thaw xbox ce will be hitting soon! the 2 characters and the 2 ps2 exclusive levels are in. they actually made the xbox levels and just dummied them out. the whole time, we had this on our disc and not alot of folks knew it.
