I have an offer for a second-hand XBOX, but the DVD-ROM is not working. So the box won't boot.
The mod-chip is Aladin, so i can't upgrade the bios on it, in order to skip DVD checking, so my only option is TSOP flashing.
My question is: can i TSOP flash the XBOX without booting it? Because as far as i know, it won't boot without a DVD-ROM.
If it is possible, i will buy the box, because the price is fine and i'll have something to tinker with. But if i need a DVD-ROM to revive the box, i think to skip the offer.
