Im really a light gun fan but have no porting or programming experience. So i was wondering about pc ports of light gun games Virtua Cop and Confidential Mission etc. I have an Xbox version of mame running about 15 light gun games properly, there are more for mame but i think the engine is too old. Anyhow has anyone looked at the available games with light gun for porting.

No source = No port.

The only thing i could advice you is to look into the world of homebrew lightgun games and see if they have anything worth porting,
because Virtua Cop and all the other commercial games can not be ported without the original source code.
