soo i left my console on all last night while i was watching videos forgot to switch it off woke up this morning an it had 3 RROD in sector 1,3,4 i felt the back of the console and there was no fans on and it did not feel 1 bit hot as if it was not switched on but it was so i switched the console off and back on and it booted straight into the dash i have not tired a game yet to see if it is going to start becoming a constant problem it is the first RROD i have had and my console is practicaly brand new 2007 model 4 months old is there any suggestions or advice on this?

We are talking about a microsoft product. they have the best build quality (not lol) anyway my xbox does this about once every two to three months and I am a hard core gamer. But works fine on the reboot. So I would say leave it if it happens more and more get them to repair it unber the 3 year warranty.

ta mate just wanted to know whats the deal with it if your still going strong with yours i will to back to gta 4 haha.

Did you get the secondary error code maybe?
If it gets the ROD there should still be a lot of heat, though...

nope woke up to a 3 RROD sec 1,3,4 console was as cool as when its switched off works fine though was playing GTA 4 and grid earlier very strange.
