I'm having problems changing my book type... i think. Ive been using Imgburn for all my burning and haven't really ever had a problem. I stopped burning games for a while and have since, formatted my PC. Recently, I downloaded a new game, and downloaded ImgBurn to burn it.
Disk 1:
Media: Memorex DVD+R DL
Burn Speed: Max
Result: Coaster
Disk 2: Memorex DVD+R DL
Burn Speed: 2.4X
Result: Error, I researced the error and found it was a typical error for Bad Media
Disk 3: FujiFilm DVD+R
Burn Speed: MAX
Result: Coaster
Disk 4: FujiFilm DVD+R
Burn Speed: 1X
Result: Coaster
Disk 5: TBA
Now, before I try burning my last Dual Layer I want to make sure Im not doing anything wrong. Normally, I open ImgBurn, and Set my booktype to DVD-ROM .. and I get the "Sucess!" message, and click OK. But somthing I noticed in the text area on the right of the screen reads like this...

The book type doesn't change in this area...is that normal? Shouldn't it say "DVD ROM". I never noticed it before but I noticed after I burned a bunch of coasters. I thought maybe it was because there was a new version of ImgBurn, so I downloaded an older version but it keeps doing the same thing. Any ideas?
Also, when I say I burned a "coaster", I mean that when I put the disc in my box it says "Unplayable Disk"
Thanks in advance for any help,
Cheers,
Aaron
