I have finally "ALMOST" finished my Daytona Machine...

IPB Image

2 * 19inch LCD Monitors, 2 * M$ force feedback wheels(ver2), 2 * xbox360's, 2 * wired controllers(for non driving games), 2 * Custom gear sticks/Boxes, 2 * Carolla front seats, 1 * car sterio. ALOT OF TIME lol

IPB Image

PS it does come with custom 2 drink holders, they didnt come up with the camera tho

Full Surround Sound... Speakers in the head rests... Tweaters all over the dash... Subs near your feet

IPB Image

Toggle switches left and right switch (DaytonaOne, DaytonaTwo) turn on/off each side while the middle (Audio) turns on the sterio and all the 12vdc gear in it.

The red Button on the gear stick does whateva button this selector switch is set on, for quick Boost/E-Brake/Look Back... It also inverts the sequential gear stick, so "forward" could be up OR down gear

Next addition to this will be next year when i install moving seats...
If i take the signal that drives the force feedback in the wheel i will be able to get some good feeling movement in the seats

as for the wiring nightmare i'll get a pic of the back and under it to show ya. but yes it was a wiring nightmare..

yeah so if anyone is playing GRID online and comes across DaytonaOne and/or DaytonaTwo, you know what your racing against lol

this is by far the best way to experience driving games on the 360!!!

there was alot of discusion about this between me and my mates... i was going to origanaly have the LHS the same as the RHS (im in australia, and we here like to have the gear stick on the left), but then symmetry and width would have gone out the window, and also getting into the seat would have been a huge pain + the drink holders wouldn't work so good.

turns out my mate that plays it the most likes the LH Steering anyway, and i like the RH Steering... win win

the xbox's have both already had 3rol befor (got them off ebay), they have both been re-flowed, x-clamps replaced, thermal compound and talismoon fans running at 12v. the noise isnt too bad because its behind the dash.
They will probably 3rol again no doubt but its not hard to fix them up for another while

You might want to wire in some fans back there for cooling

Looks Great
box_69
i second the cooling fans

a couple 120mm fans on each side
randon_i_am
ive got some 240v small exhaust fans that were left over from a job at work i will probably use them on each side for the hot summer months, i only hope their quiet enough not to piss me off to much.

"thinking out loud"... a small Air Conditioning unit would be the go, and i could hook up some ducts and vents so ya get A/C while you play, and hook up more ducts directly into the intake of each 360... That should keen them cool in summer.

I like the ac idea......
