A customer brought me his xbox 360 to have flashed. He told me he never once updated it. I thought yeah whatever and offered to get the updates for him as well. I started the update then thought NO IDIOT at least check the kernel. I cancelled the update and there it was BKl 1888
Is there a demand for this system? Thinking about selling it.
I'd ask him what he thought about it

, unless you're just a really nice guy that wants to get your customer some money back and no console.
There seems to be some demand, but whats the point really? Most people already have a PC thats capable of running Ubuntu, and there are quite a few small form factor PCs that take up less space, and play media and games a whole lot easier.
If you want to mess with it, buy it from the guy and see if anybody else wants it. Personally, I would pass on any of the versions with the exploitable kernel because of the hardware issues being so prevalent. I'd take a proven working console over one that could possibly run emulators for 30 min or so before RROD.
