I'm on my first xbox hack, and have run into troubles. I've installed a DuoX2 GS white following hackdabox's instructions, but if I try to boot using either bank of the DuoX2, the xbox starts up, shuts down, starts up, shuts down, and then starts up with the happy red-green lights of a frag. I've checked continuity of my connections w/a multimeter and all seems well, and I can boot direct to the tsop's bios if I press the eject button, so I think my D0 connection (to the alternate via on the bottom) is good. Any idea what might be wrong?

The answer, for those who might care: I belatedly realized that I'd flipped the pins so the long ends were going through the DuoX2 and the short ones were mating with the socket. The results: a 5 V pin that was getting three-ish volts. Once I replaced the pins with ones going the right way, all was well with the universe.

for future reference....the socket goes on the chip, not the motherboard.
