So, i've been doing some reading after a friend quoted me £90 to chip my xbox, i figured i would look into doing it myself.

Borrowing 10star of a friend in the morning, figured i have a Phillips DVD-ROM drive.

The only computer i have at home is a http://www.intel.com/products/desktop/moth...ry-overview.htm

* Intel® G965 Express Chipset

Will this work with iprep? The guide i am reading seems to suggest only Nforce and VIA will work with phillips. But Iprep says the following:

And actually, i don't think i installed my Chipset drivers last time i formatted windows, so that might be why.

But, should i buy a pci card for VIA or Nforce chipsets todo this ?

Also, am i under the correct assumption the only products i need todo this are the 10star and a compatable chipset?

btw, I have flashed things before, flashed my bios a few times, and a router or 2 with routertech. So i know it can go horribly wrong.
