I was just going through Habbi_xbox's original post that described the 007:AUF hack. In the small faq in that post he says that 007:AUF isnt the only game that suffers from this bug (he used it just becoz both the pal and ntsc versions of the savegames are compatible) . I am trying to find some info, and if possible compile a list of games other than 007:AUF that can be used to expolit the buffer overflow bug. I am a bit new to all this (newbie desig biggrin.gif ) so if I am wrong or there is already a post regarding this then I am sorry. jester.gif

there are probably alot of games that have this exploit.
MS only (tried) to fix it in recent XDK releases. ( http://www.caustik.com/xbox/download/cslimit.txt )

Anyway , the xbsavegame.dat Habbi_xbox released only works with 007:AUF.
So the technique he used will have to be made public before it can be used on other games.

okay so this means that the savegame file itself was hacked. I was thinking along the lines that the the savegame was fully intact (i.e. untouched) and just the files in that savegame folder were renamed/replaced by xbox linux files. Thanks for the info. I am going to try somethings anyway and let everybody if I get sumthing to work tho I aint very hopeful. sad.gif

I am surprised that he didn't make the technique public as yet. sad.gif

Just go get Agent Under Fire then. Its only $19.99, or even look on eBay for cheaper used copies.
