There is a topic on this forum that hasn't had any posts in it since April yet the subject matter is so important that if and when it starts getting posted in I would like to be notified immediately. I thought I was successfully subscribed to it but as I was working on getting everything set up to forward my notifications on to my mobile, I see that it isn't listed under my current subscriptions and a "Note: Subscriptions are pruned if there is no reply to the topic after 10 days". Does this mean I can't subscribe to topics that aren't currently active or is it just not showing it on the list? Is there a way around this or is it a streamlining concern for the forum or is it just something no one's ever brought up?

The forum e-mailer was taken offline a couple years ago. Your only real option is to bookmark the thread and check it periodically.

Oh well then I guess my Compliment / Suggestion / Complaint is that it would be great if that feature was back. I'd really rather not have to check the forum every time I wanted to get on Xbox live to make sure my firmware is still copacetic. If I got a notification on my phone if something was amiss though, sweet.
