Hello,

I have an issue.

I'm Hard Modded (Duox2GS - white) via x2 5035 bios (v1.6)

I'm trying to install a new hard drive (60GB) but the Disc does NOT auto load.

The screen Hangs on EXECUTER2 CONFIG LIVE LOADING.... screen

I can hear the dvd drive. after some time you see the xbox splash w/ Xecuter logo on bottom.

If I connect my stock hard drive. it goes past the "XECUTER2 CONFIG LIVE LOADING...." screen, I get the splash and it loads the auto installer soft mod screen. I can than go to launch DVD where it'll load the auto installer deluxe.

but the HDD I want to format is not connected.

is there a special way or something that i'm missing?

I am Soft Modded prior to hard.

I don't know if that's booting the disc when I use the stock drive.

has the hdd been unlocked or more to the point is it compatible with your xbox.

You're in the wrong section. Please ask for a mod's help to move this thread elsewhere more appropriate.

Fixed the problem

I flashed using EvoX Bios and worked like a charm. its that x2 config loading screen that was the issue. wasin't actually loading the bios and was looking for a HDD before anything else.

whereas the evox bios gets booted first than starts searching for media.
