I have a Toshiba Samsung H-943 MS28, I'm trying to flash it using the bad flash method, I have a VIA SATA controller. I dled iPrep 7.3, selected ixtreme 1.4, selected my chipset and made bootable. Booted from USB drive when i got to DOS i turned on my 360 that had already been connected (power and video cables plugged in too) selected my 360 drive type then selected 1. for Backup/patch firmware then i press next and it just says firmware back failed and as no message as to why. I read textbook's tut already and tuts on xs but still couldn't get it to work. Should i copy xsam360 and other programs onto my USB drive and just use dos? I tried using an earlier version of iprep (6.0) but it wouldn't recognize ixtreme 1.4. Not that i really care what firmware i flash it with because i won't be going online.

Use v6.x of iPrep as v7.3 was recalled due to issues. See x-project.org for more info.
