Reconstructed Metroid (nes) source code

more curious then anything actually, would this source code be portable to Xbox/Sega Genesis?
it seems to be reconstructed pretty well, would be amazing to have on xbox/genesis with super metroid sprites/art/sound.

hey man is it stable like what would we compile with it to see of it works? Or would we have to rewrite it so its compatible with VS 2003 and such?

No. It's basically a nice ROM dump where the hexadecimal opcodes are replaced with the original 6502 assembly instruction name. It is more than that, but that is the core. It certainly makes it easier to understand how the game works (assuming you know 6502 assembly which hasn't been a major language in 20 years). It is also reliant on the graphics chip of the NES and MMC1. Open any ROM in a hex editor. That is what you are looking at. They just organised it better and made it more verbose.
