Currently building a new rig:

ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe Motherboard
AMD Phenom x4 9950 (BE)
6 GB RAM OCZ PC6200 800Mhz (2x1GB sticks & 2x2GB sticks)
1TB HDD Samsung 7200rpm SATA
650W eXtreme Power Supply
O.S: Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit

Now all I need now is a graphics card. Ive been searching the web reading reviews about which card i should buy but I'm a little confused. So i decided to post my question on here: Which graphics card would the people of X-S recommend? My budget is £150

I would like to play games (Crysis etc.) at high gfx settings with a decent FPS. Since i'm using a HP 19" widescreen i'd be using a 1440x900 resolution.

Furthermore, since I have an ATI crossfire enabled mobo opposed to a nvidia SLI, would I benefit from getting an ATI card, so tht in the future if i wanna upgrade, i can double up on the card I originally have?

The 4850 looks pretty impressive especially if add a second at a later date using crossfire

Is there any Nvidia cards that can rival the 4850 in terms of price?

stick to ati though since you have a x-fire enabled board

Yeah, the 4850 and 4870 are the best out there right now.

Here is the rig I'm about to build.
