Hi All:
I had been using an NME 1.2 until my old Samsung drive died. I got a new Benq 360 (definitely not a new Liteon) and got an NME v2.0.
I have installed the chip with all wires except the network / USB off wire (wire Y). I am not new to modchips and my connections are all tested and should be good. The install was very easy, but the chip does not appear to work. I have tried the alternate points for wire A & I with no results.
Holding the power button does not turn off the main LED, nor can I play backups, which I can verify do work on other NME systems. Original games and DVDs work fine.
Can anyone offer some help or advice? (I cannot flash my drive without significant upgrades to my computer, so that is not a good option for me). Is there a way to check the chip to ensure it is not defective?

One more thing to add:
I have tested the chip with a multimeter with the system on. The chip has power (+5V). All other connections were tested with the power off and they should be good.

I just started having a similar problem tonight with the NME 2.0 w/BenQ drive. In my case, the chip has been working fine for 8-9 months until tonight. Now it no longer reads backups, holding the Power button doesn't turn off the main LED anymore, but originals still work.
Earlier in the day I had the x360 perform an update to play some trial game off xbox live. I'm wondering if that update can affect the way the power button works?
I opened up the case, checked all the wires, didn't find any shorts or loose wires anywhere...
Sorry my post doesn't really help, but its just my 2 cents...

Sorry but apparantly my problem wasn't the same. There was a pinched wire in my install. Good luck
