Is there any news of those guys making a new theme for xbmc that would resemble the upcoming 360 dash?

no....when I asked Blackbolt ( the guy who dev'd MC360 for XBMC) he responded by saying that his goal was to reproduce the "blade" dash from the xbox360. All the info you need can be found in the "Team Blackbolt" forums here on xbox-scene.
