I bought my 360 in 2007 if that has anything to do with the compatibility of the chips.

I need to know which chip( that allows me to play on Xbox Live ) can do the most for my 360.

I've already researched this topic and haven't found anything very useful at all.

The only modding experience I have is with xbox 1, and I've only modded 2 consoles with software exploits.

Please help me find a good chip
Arakon
None of them. ALL chips are worse than the flash or at the very best, the same as the flash (cause they use the flash firmware).
as for live, there's always a risk of being banned. MS checks the disks, not the drive firmware at this time.

Stick with the flash, you have an older console, so it should be really easy.

Not True. Flash is very risky. The firmware is modified. with NME2, you can switch btw live/nonflashed state and disconnected/backup state

The only problem with the NME and getting on live is that you have to patch your .iso files with their NME Associator program, which removes splitVideo layers from your image. This should allow Microsoft to detect your backup if you try to use it on live...

Team Underdog says their working on a new version of the associator that won't remove the splitVideo layers, but I doubt it's very high on their to-do list.

As far as I know none of the modchips or flash allow yuou to play backups online but the nme 2.0 allows you to still play originals online and automatically disconnects you from xbox live when you insert a backup. hope that helps

NME is the WORST modchip in terms of stealth. The best modchip is not to have one at all, JUST FLASH THE DRIVE
