i bought my parents a wii and my dad just called to see if i knew of any way to turn on the wii(no light near the power button) they have been regulary using, i told him to call tech support, i asked if all power connecions and the recepticle were good he said yeh,my wii is 2yrs old never had this happen?
has anyone else had this prob?

seems the wii has a built in surge suppressor in the power cord
just unplug both ends wait 2min plug console first
