Ok, two situations rolled into into one. I have a gigabyte p35 mobo that has a spdif out built on the board. Can this be hacked to INPUT? Anyone have any progs that can do this sort of thing.

I also have an old asus add on card that has a 4 pin connector. The spdif input on the mobo is a 3 pin. can this be attached with an adapter and work correctly? THe asus module says its an output, but if it's attached to an input would it work that way?

I want to use my pc as a 5.1 reciever for my 360, thats why I'm asking!

Any help would be appreciated here!
