So I FTPed surreal to my xbox with some roms and it works. But I am having trouble with getting roms to load off of a DVD. I created a folder on the DVD entitled "roms" and changed both the media and rom path to D:\Roms in the surreal.ini files but when Surreal goes to load them it says loading and then freezes. Does anyone have any idea as to how to fix this?

mmmhh...the emulator finds the roms?? maybe the d:\roms is a wrong ROM path
if it cannot find roms, try a:\roms

Have Surreal re-scan for ROMs when booting from the DVD drive.

I swear someone asks a question like this every day. Maybe someone should make a good tutorial (maybe visual)(if there isn't one already) that people can direct them to.

Sorry xyteam, I meant to quote dasmico's comment, not yours,
I just meant, someone always needs help with surreal, and I have never seen any formal tutorial.
Actually, I have noticed that you (xyteam) have give help many times on this
I would not be fully qualified I'm afraid. Just a thought for anyone who could maybe.
no condescension intended, sorry for the misunderstanding.
