I just bought this system from gamestop and I noticed that it has been opened. It has obvious pry marks on the back. How can I tell if the system is already modded? Any help is appreciated.

if you think its been opened, i would try to exchange it. (who knows what was done on the inside of it, and if the mobo that is in that system is what came with it originally. not to mention, if you have to use the warranty, you might run into trouble.)

as far as testing goes, if you decide to keep the system, you could open the insides up and dump the firmware and verify that way. you could also pickup a kreon drive (which i would recommend doing if you plan to mod your system in the future), and make a backup/toss it in the system.
