hello there, im running a softmodded xbox with unleashX with some emulators, it had been a while since i had updated them and the time has rolled around for me to do so, however.......


i read through the The Great Xbox Emulation Thread, and found the answer i was looking for to obtain the software i need by reading the guide to using Xbins.....

i just followed that tutorial to the letter and well, Xbins does not seem to be functioning, when i type /Msg xbins !list in the MIRC program, i get returned:

xbins No Such Nick



any solutions to this problem?

you want to get an irc program, if you have Firefox then just get the add-on Chatzilla, then join the Efnet server and once it is confirmed that you are in their type /j #xbins and once you are there follow the instructions the xbins tells you in the text in BOLD you will also need a ftp program to connect to the server, again if you have mozzila firefox then just get the add-on FireFTP(note that it cannot handle files bigger than 2gbs) if not then just dl the program FlashFxP and you that to connect to the given server with your password and username(make sure for both FireFTP and FlashFXP anonymous is turned off.)

Also if using Evox when you need to transfer files to the xbox uncheck passive mode for both ftp clients.

excellent, can filezilla be used in place of FlashFxP?

sure use whatever you want for an ftp client I just think FlashFXP is the best for it.

hmm Filezilla didnt work so i tried FlashFxP, worked perfectly, thanks for the help!
