Its a shame that streaming site only works in Britain. Is there any way around that?

There is a way: finding ans using a proxy in Britain, but is has to be a good one in order to support video streaming.

I'm not from britian and it works for me, I try just making a .strm file with the flashvideo address, but it only plays the adds before the show and not the actualy show its self

I guess it is because it detect your IP address is not in Great Britain, the only way (I know) to avoid that is to use a proxy, the problem is to find a good proxy for free ...
Same thing with free TV-show video in US on the network, even in Canada it won't work, unless you have a proxy.
