Hah... sorry to get your hopes up guys, but I'm a complete dummy at this stuff. I was able to actually remap arcade games in MAME inside the actual MAME source code and do a few other tricks, but it would take me 5 years to learn how to do this.
It's been a while since I heard any talk of XCOM in here and thought I'd bring it up again. It really is one of the best PC games ever made.
I actually prefer the PSX port to the DOS version with the controls and all, but since the DOSBox version is slow and glitchy and the PSX version just doesn't play at all, I figured I'd speak my peace and say that this game is truly deserving of its own XBox port. (Maybe the source isn't released though.... if that's the case, oops, my bad.... I just broke a rule, and needlessly stirred up something that just can't happen)
Hopefully we'll see any working version of this game on the Box in the future. It's a shame that we have two outlets for this great game now but neither of them play it right.
Definately check it out though if you haven't. I've beat it like 3 times in my life already and every couple of years I bust out the PS1 and give it another go.

Not sure if the source for this one was ever released, but have you seen the open source multiplayer remake of the original: UFO 2000? Source can be found here:

It's an awesome game, ain't it Sotu?
I think I had this cnversation a while ago and there's no source available. I was just talking about it to someone a while ago and brought it up again. Hopefully somebody can fix XCOM like they've been fixing drivers for MAME and FBA. Who knows..... maybe it will work perfect on PSX one day. It's so much better on the PSX since they mapped it perfectly from the DOS game from the keyboard and mouse.
Here's hoping.....

I'll have to try it out. Bummer about them skimping on the graphics if it works, but it's still better than not having XCOM on the Box at all.
Thanks for the tip,
~Rx
