Does the usb adapter mod make it so you can dump games without reopening the case over and over.

Is is possible to flash a dvd drive back to original in order to play on live without getting banned?

Once you played one backup the risk is already there even if you flash back to original to play on Live. Your best bet is to ether never flash at all or if you do then just play retail disks on Live and backups offline.

If you want to make your own backups use a Kreon drive.

No i meant play only retail on live after i flash to original. So a Kreon drive can rip and and burn xbox 360 games straight from the pc. thanks for all the information.

The Kreon drive is used to make the backup iso from the retail game disk. You still need a DVD burner to burn the ISO to a DVD+DL disk.

hey so the kreon drive i would buy is a dvd reader only and i would write it with another dvd writer.

can you expand on the modified firmware. if i flash it once or play a burned game once i can never go on live even if i put my old firmware on.

You can play on LIVE whenever you want BUT the minute you flash the firmware and play a backup online or offline the risk has been taken so flashing the original firmware and playing retail copys will make no difference... the damage has been done.

I see i wonder if there is a greater risk playing backups online then playing retail online after flash run backup..
