I was playing around with bios because i have a 250 gig hdd and i couldn't find m8plus_16_67. I found iND'd 16_67 bios instead and started to play with the CFG editor and then implimented the CFG into the BIOS up'd and flashed it.
Now whenever i attempt to boot from the chip it starts flashing orange (bios i think) and whenever i do auto boot it loads the flash then restarts and then flashes orange.
Not good, but how do i go about fixing this...?

How is your Xbox modded - TSOP or chip? What version Xbox, which chip?

1.6 Xenium ICE
I think me and you are pretty much one of a few that regularly post here.

I use iND.BIOS.5003 and it works fine, but I don't inject the config - I recall reading somewhere that the config inject is a bit buggy. But, more importantly, iND.BIOS doesn't have a version that supports the Xbox 1.6.......... that's probably why it isn't working!
If you boot with the eject button do you get to the Xenium OS Menu? What about if you press / hold the white button while the box is booting?
And there are loads of regular posters, it's just a bit quiet tonight!!!!

If the chip has a bank of 512 or bigger x2 5035 is the way to go.There are several versions of this bios and you mentioned having a 1.6 so make sure you find one like this
By the way I use x25035 and IND bios both the ini and the cfg on these bios work perfect for me and all the xboxes I have built. And these bios would really be no better than any other bios without them.I am not even sure if custom partitioning is enabled without the x25035.ini or IND.cfg

Good call on the X2 5035 thats the one im going to stick with now.
Do i need to format my G: partition? When i used the drive upgrade wizard on my xenium i formatted the F and the G.
I'm wondering if i can just setup the F for all 250 gigs, that'd save alot of trouble.

Depends which X2.5035 you used. X2.5035.v16plus.137 supports F and G, X2.5035.v16plus supports F only.
You can switch the BIOS from one to the other with x2ool - v1.0.4 is the latest version.

the one from xbins only came with the 1.0-1.5 and the 1.6. I can't find 167. I used X2ool and config'd it so that it skips the DVD Check like i needed and and set up G to take the rest but it's still usuable

So you've got it set as a .67 BIOS - supporting partitions 6(F) and 7(G). If you want all F just select "Partition 6 Takes Rest of the Drive".

Hey man thanks dude i got it to work. I set it up and everything, the F was still registering as 120 gigs so i formatted it and now it's all there.
I wish there was some reputation system or something lol.
I started the day out thinking i would have to hook the HDD up to my comp now i have everything running right.. Thanks once again man.

Or just use the ini and you can custom partition any sizes you want. Its the same way with IND and the cfg.
Use the ini file that comes with it.It has all the goodies you will want and more.It has the ability to customize everything you will most likely ever want or need.
Just drop it in the root of E
