Hi. Having a problem here with a used WII i bought as-is. Said it didn't read disks... So, i bought a new lens and replaced it. Didn't change anything.
The wii ejects and takes disks fine. It doesn't have any modchip installed. I've also bought and replaced the spindle motor (since disk doesn't spin at all). It still doesnt spin ! Is the disk supposed to be spinning when inserted, whatever it is ? I've tried with a Wii backup, a dvd movie, a wiikey update dvd... doesn't spin or even try to.
Anyone has a clue what could cause that and how to fix it ? I'm really clueless. Drive is a D2B with cut pins, i bought a wiikey to install on it.
300$ later, no working console.. If anyone has a clue for me, i'd be really happy. Thanks, cheebster.
