I used JF to flash (write) and before that I used Xtractor to get the key of a Lite-on.
Now the question: will it be more or less the same way to read/erase(if necessary)/write when modding the different other drives ???
I guess I only need the serial cable when I wanna read the key of a Lite-on drive, right?
So, will I be able to use the same setup for moddifying any other drive then the Lite-on?
Is it in general the same procedure: read(extract key) - erase - write ?
For example, with the Liteon you have switch off/on when erasing. Is this the same procedure for the other drives?
