Bear in mind i have only tried 10 or so games, so its by no means definitive, but I have noticed that if I dont reboot the computer after i have burnt a disc (with XBC+ imgburn), the next burn wont work. In the burns that havent work, i think its usually around the layer break area that it fails, although im not *certain*.

Is there any possible reason for this? Currently using aone discs (i know, ive just bought a bunch of verbatims), burner is a plextor PX-755A.

Yeah try it with verbatim also make sure if your using or changing booktype that you have the right kind of drive selected and also try reconnecting the power and sata cables to your drive just to make sure

So far I have been able to burn multiple verbatims successfully without rebooting, which does suggest a problem with the aone discs. However, I still find it odd that I never had a problem with them as long as I rebooted before burning...
