Does anyone here speak Japanese so that we might acquire the source code for this wonderful homebrew? I can't tell if the source code is listed on the author's page or not. I'd love to see an Xbox port of this:

EDIT: The team is apparently in the works of making a rockman 8 as well! It would also be cool if they were hacks that could be played on the nes emulators. I don't know if a hack is in any way relative to a "home-brew remake" .

I've seen this game around, it would be a great port to have for xbox for us megaman fanatics, ill try to help and see if i can find the source code. this would be awesome to have on our box.

@GTTeancum: Yeah, it's publicly released (the game, don't know about the code). It's a top shelf homebrew that puts the real Mega Man 7 to shame in my opinion.

@Mega Man (?): No, I won't be attempting to port this, I'm not a coder. I just wanted to collaborate on getting the source so that if a coder did take the interest, he'd already have what he needed to get started.

This is something i have been hoping for as well. I thought i was the only one. If i knew more about porting games i would try but if source can't be found then its pretty much dead in the water.
