Dear Users,

You will have to forgive me as I am a gaming novice, My friend is trying to get me into the xbox gaming scene, he recently purchased an XBOX 360 and gave me his old one for Christmas. Well I'm very technicaly savy and know my networking, I made the Ethernet cable my self and connect it to my westel Verizon router (6100 is the model), I connected the other end to my xbox and checked the network connectivity. My xbox is reporting that the cable is unplugged... I have tried reboot the modem and the xbox and still no luck..I know the cable works because it was tested.

Any ideas? do the ports on the xbox's go bad often?

I hope i can get online if not i just bought halo and the like for nothing sad.gif

Best Regards,
