I am not an expert in this field but I need help with my EvoX on my old XBOX.

I will try to explain as good as I can:
My Xbox has been working as it should for appr 4 years. It has EvoX with a 160GB harddrive.
The startmenu has always been "play games...", "Mediacenter" etc.
Now the only menuoptions on the startpage is:
- MS Dashboard
- Reboot
- Power off
- Settings
- Backup

Do anyone know what has happened? Could it be that anyone changed anything in the settings?

It says "Gemini EvoX Setup CD v2.0" in the top of the screen.
Under settings there are a lot of info/options, for example "Bios version" is "unknown", is this normal?

Any help is highly appreciated.

You should have ftp access to your xbox since evox is running. Locate evox.ini and google for a stock version of the same file and compare the entries. Replace if necessary.

That just means that your BIOS hash is not in your evox.ini. You can manually add it if you want, but it isn't necessary.
