i tried burning some skins and emu's to a dvd- and a cd-r because my computer and xbox are on different sides of the house and i dont feel like moving the tv back and forth and when i put them in the xbox drive it pulls up the file explorer or the file manager and then freezes , any ideas how to fix this or why its happening? Oh yeah and i wont read the cd-r,s at all and i have a thomson drive.

dvd's are sony brand and the cd's are hp

the xbox often has trouble with ISO9660 discs, try UDF or better yet, xISO (use craxtion to create the ISO then burn that)

I just burn a "data disc" in Nero, then use either XBMC or BOXPLORER to get files
off the disc onto the Xbox HD.
