well today i did a vga mod and all looks good when i hook up my 360 to my screen. so i put it back together, pop in a disc, drive works for about 2 seconds, and then stops spinning. it does this with every game i own, legit or "backup". flashed it last friday with ixtreme 1.5. everything has been going good until this. already tried taking out the vga mod, and still i get the error. i already tried adjusting the pots, no luck there. tomorrow i will try flashing back the origional firmware, but i doubt it will help.

has anybody had this problem before and if so how did you fix it? i really dont have the money to shell out for a new drive so i need a solution

edit: sounds like i have the open tray error . will the rubberband mod work with this?
